Throughout the year ARF offers a variety of one day programs where children learn about pets and have fun while doing so. If your children love animals, but are unable to commit to a week of our summer camp or ongoing classes during the school year, one of the events below may be perfect for them. Most of the events are tailored for a specific age group. If you do not see something offered for your child at this time please check back as new events are posted often.

Trick or Treat, play Halloween games and make crafts with the staff and therapy animals of Tony La Russa’s
Animal Rescue Foundation.
Wear your costume and join ARF’s furry friends for a day of fright!
All Ears Reading™
Every Monday from 4 - 4:50 p.m. children age 3-12 can come read to members of ARF’s Therapy Team.
Kind Kids Club
Every Thursday from 4 - 4:50 p.m. children can explore a different topic relating to pets. The classes are not cosecutive, so drop-ins are expected. Please RSVP by e-mail at least two days before the class if your child would like to attend.
Animals on Broadway
ARF’s annual festival for people and pets alike to join together and spend the day celebrating their animals on Broadway — Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek, that is.
