Unite for United Way!
The annual United Way campaign offers some great ways for you to support ARF's work. One of the easiest is to arrange for your United Way contribution to come directly to ARF through a direct designation. All you need to do is designate Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation on the form and indicate how much you'd like to give out of each paycheck. If you give just $10 out of each bi-weekly paycheck, you will be able to give a total of $240 a year!. That $240 will go a long way toward saving the lives of the many abandoned kittens and puppies who come through ARF's doors each week.
Here's another idea: If you or your spouse work at a Bay Area company that holds a United Way campaign, contact your campaign organizer to request that ARF be brought in to speak at your campaign kick-off event. ARF also offers presentations to groups of employees during the course of the campaign. ARF's presentations are very popular because of the great photographs and stories of the dogs and cats saved, and sometimes one of ARF's four-legged furry ARF spokes-animals will also be in attendance!
